Local marinas also rent fishing, pontoon, sailboat, and waterski boats as well as personal watercraft. Many Rangeley shops carry depth charts of the local waters for fishing and touring information and businesses renting boats and watercraft will have copies of the boating rules and regulations.

Be aware of the weather when boating on the Rangeley Lake. During sudden summer storms high winds and strong waves can come out of nowhere. Always make sure that you share your boating plans with someone.
