Pet Friendly
Accommodations!

Many thanks to all of the “United Pet Nation” members that visited us this summer! From the African Gray Parrot, English Springer Spaniels, Bernese Mountain Dogs to the Siberian Huskies, American Fox Hounds and of course the adorable 3 ˝ month old, yellow lab, Rangeley! We mustn’t forget the senior most members of the Nation, good ole’ Cabot, 14 years old and Town and Lake visitor for 14 years! (The Curtis’ can’t even say the word Rangeley in front of him!) and Chip, a 16 year Papillion from Lowell, MA.

Many thanks to the Nation’s really good parents, as well.

Pet Policy

PETS WELCOME!!!
$5.00 a day per pet
As a family with 3 dogs, two cats, a few teenagers and several fish, we understand that sometimes the four legged family members are better behaved than the two legged variety. We only ask a few simple things of you if you decide to bring the furry family members on vacation.
Here goes……

  • Give your pet (and teenagers if you must) a good brushing before you come. Less griping from the cleaning ladies.

  • Please sign our pet guest book in the office, we are curious folk and wonder how many furry family members visit us every year.

  • Be honest- Please remember we do have guests without pets, (Shocking, I know) remind your pooch to use his indoor voice on vacation.

  • Our lawn is a poop free zone. We (meaning you, too) practice the stop, plop and scoop method. Extra bags in the office and shovels out by the garage.

  • We reserve the right to let your dog roll in something dead if you leave it barking in the room while you are gone, and charge accordingly for any damage done to your room or cottage.
